Brazil was awarded to host “The 12th World Gateball Championship in 2018.” Although the exact dates are not yet fixed, the site is expected to be the Union Stadium in Japaquara ward of San Paulo city.  It is 30 years since the World Gateball Championship was held in Brazil. The union stadium, a planned site, is a permanent stadium having 16 courts.
