On November 15th, during the opening ceremony of Bali International Sports Week Gateball Competition,
Yoshihiro Endo, president of WGU (on the left: in a suit) has presented the WGU membership approval and the flag to
Mr. Ida Bagus Antara, vice president of Indonesia Gateball Association (on the right: in red). |
There were 32 teams in total participating :
26 from Indonesia, 3 from Japan, 1 from Singapore, 1 from Thailand, and 1 from Taiwan.
Results: 1st prize - TVRI (Indonesia)
2nd prize - Singapore (Singapore)
3rd prize - SMAN8 DPS (Indonesia)
-PMI BADUNG (Indonesia)
Gateball in Indonesia has been promoted and played starting from Bali, and now is spread to not only the capital Djakarta but also to wide area such as Sumatra and Sulawesi.
We are very positive that we will have more gateball players in Indonesia in the near future as well! |
