Total of 128 team gathered from Asian countries:
18 from China, 2 from Hong Kong, 3 from Japan, 8 from Korea, 2 from Macao, and 95 from Taiwan.
The competition was devided in 3 groups:
1) League matches: 32 groups of 4 teams each for the league matches. The first place of each group could participate in the tournament match.
2) Tournament match: played by knockout. The first place of each court could participate in finals.
3) Finals: played by knockout.
*Awards were given to the top 16 teams.

The results were as the following;
1st prize - 新竹市乾坤 / Hsinchu city universe （TPE）
2nd prize - 新竹縣快樂 / Hsinchu county happiness （TPE）
3rd prize - 苗栗縣三義國中 / Miaoli county Sanyi senior high school （TPE）
4th prize - 雲林縣志工 / Yunlin county volunteer （TPE）
We found it interesting that during the game, the anouncement (telling the time) was done first in Chinese, then Japanese and Korean using a recorded CD.
This was very helpful for all the participants in the tournament. |
