Polo shirts and Gateball Equipment Set Donated to Zambia through “Sport for Tomorrow”

Japan Gateball Union (JGU) donated a set of gateball equipment to the Olympic Youth Development Center and polo shirts to schools and various sports clubs in Zambia though the Sport for Tomorrow, a project promoted by the Japanese government, to which JGU belongs as a member of its consortium.


Let us share the report on the bestowal ceremony which we received from NOWSPARS, an NGO supporting the sports activities by Zambian women.


Sport for Tomorrow is an international contribution through support initiatives led by the Japanese government, which promotes sport to more than 10 million people in over 100 nations until 2020, the year when Tokyo will host the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games.It aims to deliver values of sport and promote the Olympic and Paralympic movement to people of all generations worldwide.


WGU and JGU are going to promote further development of gateball in Africa, collaborating with variety of partners including the Sport for Tomorrow.
