The third prime minister cup international game in Pusan
Local young team got 8th place
The third prime minister cup international game was held in Pusan, South Korea
on April 23 - 25. Korea will hold next 9th World GB Championships in 2006. A total
of 128 teams participated. 107 local teams from Korea, 21 teams from Japan.
The opening ceremony and welcome party was held on April 24.On April 25 teams
were divided into 16 courts in which league tournaments were held, and last day
the tournament was done.
It is a Pusan Sendai primary school team by the school child in local to have
attracted attention. This team plays gateball as part of class of school. Similar
Japan, junior gateball is spreading in Korea. The team was 8th place and got the
encouragement prize. Korea teams took the prize from the victory to the 8th place.
