6 countries and regions, 40 teams participate in
Hong Kong China GB Association held AsianCities Gateball Invitation Championships 2009 onNov. 13-15 at Hong Kong. A total of 40 teamsparticipated in : 11 local teams from Hong Kong, 1from Indonesia(Bali), 2 from India ,6 from Macau,17 from China and 3 from Japan.The representative conference, the openingceremony and the welcome party were held at thefirst day. The game started at the second day.The preliminary games were held by round-robinstyle by five teams at a court. The top 2 teamsfrom each court then played in tournament todecide the champion team.The winner was a Chinese team. 2nd is a Hongkong. The play of the Hong Kong team in whichthe middle players participated was remarkable.An Indonesian team also made the best use of theexperience on March this year with the 1st Baliinternational GB Game, and it raised the level withthe strategy and technology. Referees of HongKong and China took charge of the games. They(20-60 years old) are very young and their actionswere brisk. It was good impression.
