THE KAUAI INVITATIONAL GOODWILL TOURNAMENT
SPARKS in “the beautiful garden island of Kauai”
The first Gateball Friendly Tournament was held in the island of Kauai.17 teams
participated from islands and main land. The island of Kauai is renowned as one
of the most beautiful places in the world. Because of the spectacular natural
beauty it is called “Garden Island”.
The tournament were supported by Country of Kauai. Joining the Country's Parks
and Recreation Division in presenting this event were ; the Kauai Gateball Association
and the Hawaii Gateball Association.
Maryanne W. Kusaka, Mayor said, “ The tournament will be expanded, and We want
to send invitations to many other countries next time.”
