The UK Croquet Assoiation reports the phenomenon of Gateball
Gateball, created in Japan with a suggestion ofthe French traditional game “Croquet” in 1948, is drawing attention of croquet player in the UK.
The Croquet Association's Magazine,“the croquetGazette”,carried a feature article on Gateball in the January issue.It deals with the Gateballhistory, situation, difference from Croquet and other things. Particularly gives some the problems with Gateball development and promotion.
It is Mr. Colin Fletcher to have made the chance of carrying the article.He from Beverley Croquet Club called in at the Japan Gateball Union. He was interesred in Gateball and played. After he returned to England, he told his experience of gateball in japan.
A new world opened up for Gateball.
