The 12th Chairman Flag GTBL Tournament was held in
the Seogwipo City, and 134 teams participated from South Korea the whole area,
though the 9th WGC once every four years would be held in Seogwipo City, Jeju
Island next year. It was said the demonstration Tournament of The WGC.
There are about one million GTBL players in South Korea now. It makes efforts
to the spread as the extension is shown to the young generation, and the university
student games and the married couple games are newly established.
The Mayor of Seogwipo City who participated in this Opening Ceremony said, "We
make efforts to spread GB in the City, and hope that many players would participate
in the WGC 2006." |
