2005 MACAU International GTBL Championships was held
in Macau by both Macau China GTBL Association and Macau Sport Development Board
on December 7-8, last year 2005. Besides Macau 3 teams, a total of 40 teams from
Japan 1, Singapore 4, Chinese Taipei 3, Hong Kong China 2, and China 27 took part.
In the opening ceremony, Chinese style dance was performed. On the first day,
teams played in a preliminary league. On the following day, the top teams from
each court played in tournament to decide the champion team. The winner was the
Chinese team.
Chinese teams showed high level skill on the natural turf court and inside the
best 8 teams, the superior 7 teams monopolized. The Singapore team took 8th place.
