Last year this challenge GB Meet started. The 2nd GB Challenge was held in Zaozhuang City on October 28.
This GB Challenge is held to promote the international exchange and cooperation of gateball by the Chinese Gateball Association.
1st Meet was 3 countries' Meet. China, Korea and Japan. This year 2nd Meet was held among 6 countries and regions.
China, Hong Kong China, Macau China, Chinese Taipei, Japan and Korea. One selected team from each country and region.
Game Method was the round-robin.
Chinese team got 1st prize.? The skill and tactics of Chinese players were remarkable.
By the way this GB Challenge was sponsored by local health food company. It made the special GB courts. This trend is growing strong in China. |

Skills and power of China were remarkable in this Championships. Ball touching skill of players of every generation was very good. If they get more strategy, they will be much strong team. Korean GB level is getting up. Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong China and Macau China, too.

Chinese players show splendid skill of “Stepping over strike”. Some Japanese players try to copy it, however they are hard to master it in a year or two. The referees' brisk action was fresh impression to me. Also game management was very interesting for me. |
