2008 The 4th Pusan TAFISA World Sports For All Games is a World Cultural Sport games organized by TAFISA and it is officially patronized by IOC, WHO and UNESCO. This festival is designed to collect traditional sporting activities from all around the World at one place.
101 countries and regions, about 10 thousand players took part in the 4th Pusan TAFISA World Sports For All Games which was held in Pusan, South Korea. Gateball games joined the Festival for the first time.
Gateball games was held on September 27-28.
Participating in this Games were 96 teams from 8 countries or regions, Japan 12, Russia 2, China 1, and Chinese Taipei 4 and Hong Kong China and South Korea 75.
First up were the preliminary, and then second league matches. The final event was a finals tournament.
Unfortunately all Japanese teams are defeated at the second league.
The final tournament was for 12 teams, one Chinese team and 11 local teams South Korea.
At the final game Chinese team defeated South Korean team「GYEONGGI DREAM」11-11 in the content winning.
