24 high school students who are active in National Junior Championships in Japan and their teachers visited chungnum city, South Korea from November 7 to 11, and had friendly games with local 70 junior and youth players. These friendly games were in conjunction with Department of Education, Science and Technology's Sports exchange program. Japanese players participated in it from various area of Japan.
The exchange games were held on Nov. 8-9.
Japanese teams had good results.
South Koreans players asked Japanese players how did they get to know the GB technique and strategy.
Japanese players corresponded kindly by English and the gesture.
The friendly dinner party was held on Nov.8.
The participants of the two countries mutually exchanged information.
Japanese participants said. "We could learned the history and the culture including the gateball of South Korea, and had very significant experience." |
