From May 13　to 16, “the 2023 Asia-Pacific Masters Games Gateball Tournament was held in Jeonju, the capital of North Jeolla Province.

The games is four-team league match with 5X5 players.
Based on the results of the first day’s matches, games and League matches were rearranged on the second day.

Based on the results of the two-day matches, 16 teams entered the tournament on the third day.
The two Hiroshima teams that participated from Japan advanced from the league to the tournament to reach the round of 16.

One team from Hiroshima who won the first round of the tournament advanced to the last eight.
Both Japanese teams were on par with the Korean team in the tournament, but fell just short.
As a result, the top three teams were all dominated by Korean teams.

The players of the Hiroshima team who participated in the tournament were able to deepen their friendship with Korean players, and said that it was a fun tournament.

In addition, three volunteer interpreters dispatched from Changsui City supported the Japan teams (2 Japan volunteers and 1 Korean national).
