Competition Procedures

League Matches

In each 12 courts, four teams will play league matches in two groups(part A&B), which will determine representatives of each court (The winning teams of part A&B)

 

Tournament

Court-representing 24 teams play tournament games to determine the ranking.

Day One：September 26

Reception for Teams : 10:00-14:00 @Niigata City Athletic Stadium

Official Practice on the courts : 10:00-14:00

Opening Ceremony : 15:00-16:00 @ Niigata Pref. Civic Center

Welcome Party : 18:00-20:00 @ ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Niigata

*This party is hosted by Niigata Gateball League.
*Invitation is open to : team’s representitve (2 from each team), International Referees, WGU directors etc.

 

Day Two：September 27

Opening Attractions: 09:40-10:40

Round Robin Tournament : 11:00-16:50 (Round 1 – 8. Each team will have 2 games on this day)

 

Day Three：September 28

Round Robin Tournament : 09:00-11:30 (Round 9 – 12. Each team will play 1 game)

Championship Tournament : 12:30-16:00

Awards and Closing Ceremony : 16:30-17:30
