The 5th Thailand Open Masters Gateball Championship was held at the Chaloem Phra Kiat Queen Sirikit’s 60 Anniversary Stadium, Pathum Thani, Thailand.60th Anniversary Stadium of Queen Sirikit in Pathum Thani Province. January 13~17. the Gateball tournament was held.

Participating countries and regions are China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Indonesia, India, Pakistan, Japan, and Thailand.

On the first day, games were Classic 5×５ competition, two categories a senior division and no age limit. In the senior division, as expected, the China teams were dominated the top three places. In the unrestricted category, the Indonesian team, which has been performing remarkably well in each tournament recently, won the championship with the Chinese team in the league and the final tournament. The Indonesian team was made up of young players in their 20s. They are approaching the top level in terms of technology and tactics.
